Struggling to Embody One of the Feminine Archetypes?

Are there any of the seven feminine archetypes (learn more about them here) that you can’t really see yourself embodying more of in your life?

(Or if you’ve taken my free quiz, did you notice some archetypes didn’t show up in your results?)

The truth is, all of the feminine archetypes are within you.

They all hold incredible wisdom and powers. And they can all help you reconnect with your intuition and true self.

So what’s holding you back from activating these parts of yourself?

Sometimes, our conscious desires and subconscious beliefs go against each other, and we have a hard time moving towards what we really want (or need).

Essentially, we say we want something, but then we have a limiting belief or fear in our subconscious that holds us back, such as "I want to be wealthy" but subconsciously we have a belief that "people with money are bad."

So we sabotage and limit our progress because we don't want to be "bad."

(Note, for more on uncovering your true needs to let go of self-sabotage, I'd recommend checking out this video too).

So to uncover what might be blocking you from tapping into the full potential of each of the seven archetypes, I recommend asking yourself and journaling about questions like:

  • 'What does it mean to me to embody more of the [fill in specific archetype]?'

  • 'How would that impact my habits, identity, and actions?'

  • ‘What might be holding me back from embracing this archetype?’

  • ‘Who might react negatively if I start showing up more in the energy of [fill in archetype]?’

And a part of this might be looking at your most important relationships, especially from childhood and seeing how others expected or wanted you to show up:

For example, a typical “counter-balance” to The Huntress is The Maiden and Guide.

The Guide represents ease, compassion, and receptivity - all qualities a typical 'Huntress woman' could struggle with embracing.

Especially if she was conditioned or taught not to by those around her.

So, is there someone in your life who doesn't want you to be more joyful and receptive and aligned with the typically known as ‘light feminine’ qualities?

Who would have a negative reaction (even if it's only that you fear they might) towards you becoming more trusting and receptive?

Either in a way that could lead you away from them and their values or in a way that could make you more easygoing and lighthearted in comparison to them.

(Did you know I've created a free 7-day course where we use the feminine archetypes as a tool to help you stop living on autopilot and awaken your highest self? Learn more about it here 🫶)

If you’re struggling to embody specific archetypes (and therefore specific parts of your whole, true self), these are the types of things that I'd recommend exploring.

Because they might reveal ways in which you're subconsciously 'against' what you most deeply desire.

And therefore, they may reveal ways you’re currently stuck in good-girl patterns of overworking yourself, justifying your decisions, or avoiding honest confrontation about your unmet needs rather than stepping into an honest, intentional, and free version of yourself.
