How often do you say things like “I feel good” or “ah, I really hate feeling this way” or even “I know I shouldn’t be feeling this..?” Too often is my guess. I used to think that there were good feelings and bad feelings. Growing up, whenever I felt sad, angry, frustrated, etc. my parents would step away and leave me to be by myself, telling me that “when I was feeling better, I could join them again.”


This happens way too often, and we become so disempowered in our own lives because human beings aren’t rational beings capable of emotions, we are emotional beings capable of being rational. So let’s be rational for a second and realize that if you can't acknowledge, accept, and regulate your emotions - you’re not going to live a healthy, empowered, and fulfilling life. So let’s start debunking those misconceptions a bit and uncover the truth about your emotions, shall we?
